Antidote Remedial

Antidote is a remedial building company which was established in 2007. Over the last decade our business has grown to become a team of licensed skilled trades including builders, tilers, painters, plumbers and concreters with a diverse background and a common passion for delivering the best results for our clients.

Based in Manly, we operate throughout the Sydney metro area. Our aim is to deliver remedial works to the highest standard for our clients. We understand that the key factors to consider for projects is the scope of works, time to completion and cost effective outcomes.

Antidote is dedicated to providing exceptional levels of service to our clients. Our team not only has skilled licensed tradespeople but also Admin staff and certified Project Managers to make sure our projects are completed on time, on budget and to a high quality. We utilise a best practice project management methodology, a hybrid of PMBOK and Prince2.

Our building had some serious subsidence issues, our engineer specified a complex underpinning details which was very costly and would cause a serious amount of damage, we were able to have the building underpinned by Merich and his team using their injection with little damage and the job was done in a day!

Environment

Antidote have effectively delivered hundreds of projects in several different types of locations from commercial buildings, hospitality venues, health/retail facilities and residential buildings so we understand the fragility of working in live environments and continuing business within a range of sectors.

Preperation

Antidote prides itself on its deliver of projects. Our aim is to deliver on time, to budget and to the highest quality. Our certified project office uses Prince2 and PMBOK methodologies to achieve the best results for our clients. All works are planned prior to commencement to minimise the risk of variations.

The team know their stuff, I had a major leak under my house which two plumbers determined it to be from our swimming pool, one call to Antidote Remedial Builders for a quote to repair the pool resulted in them testing the water sample and finding a leak 300m up the road from a burst street main.

Leak Detection

Antidote has all the technical qualifications & skill to find most leaks within different types of buildings, these include but are not limited to cavity flashing, balcony leaks, burst pipes, gutter/down pipe overflows, sewer surcharge, rising damp, waterproof membrane failures, detention tanks and pumps.


Waterproofing

Antidote provides all types of waterproofing, from base level polyurethane to more complex applications of epoxy and torch on membranes.


Non-invasive Underpinning

Antidote provides cutting edge minimally invasive underpinning solutions, we can underpin subsiding buildings using in-ground injection techniques that eliminate the need to excavate around the building, saving a lot of time, money and prevents excessive damage.

Concrete Cancer

Antidote provides expert skill in all areas of concrete, from a full service of concreting to concrete cancer exploration, treatment and make good.


Rising Damp

Antidote provides rising damp repairs without the need to replace brickwork, saving time and money while minimising damage to the environment around the issue.


Brick Stitching

Antidote is able to not only repair cracks in brickwork but also stitch the brickwork back together which increases strength and minimizes the reoccurrence of cracking. The process is to insert stainless steel rods into the wall and patching over.


Planter Box Repairs

Antidote specialises in planter box repairs, this include waterproofing to full rebuilds.


Concreting

Antidote provides concrete services such as full service concreting to concrete cancer exploration, treatment and make good.


Make Good

Antidote provides emergency make-safe/make-good due to unforeseeable events.


Plumbing

Antidote Remedial also provide a complete in-house plumbing service, leak detection combined with plumbing repairs and make good makes us the ideal choice.


Concrete Cracks

Antidote Remedial has invested heavily in our staff and tools in order to provide our clients with the ability to repair concrete cracks and concrete leaks like no other, we injection directly into the crack, this chemical reaction then repairs/seals the crack.


Engineering

Antidote Remedial in conjunction with a Chartered Engineer (CP Eng) who is also a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia (NPER 236916) can provide you with reports and detailed structural diagrams for any works you need. Contact us for more information.

Antidote Remedial is a registered Builder in NSW. We are members of the Master Builders Association, Real Estate Institute of NSW and Australian Institute of Project Management.

Insurances

Antidote is compliant and insured for all works we undertake. Our insurances are current and include, Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) formerly known as home warranty insurance, workers compensation with CGU and public liability with Allianz.

We were quoted $55,000 to have our balcony re-waterproofed due to a crack in the slab, the team at Antidote Remedial Builders saved us the unnecessary need of removing tiles and repaired it from below, saving us over $45000 and the job was done in two days.
